Includes live firing of a range of rifles from the Small Arms Teaching Collection on the 30metre range and conducted tours of the Armoured Fighting Vehicles collection including Russian and British tanks, Gun Sheds and Ammunition Hall.

The day starts with coffee and full English Breakfast in the Mess on arrival.  Access and briefing on the Small Arms Teaching Collection, followed by some live firing of a selection of automatic rifle.  Guided tours with individual briefings on the range of towed guns, ammunition teaching collection and armoured fighting vehicles will follow throughout the day.  Full access is provided to all the vehicles, providing great photo opportunities, although none are able to be driven.

Lunch will be taken in the Officer’s Mess.

Expected timeframe:    One  weekday in September or October to fit with teaching commitments.
