One days woodland stalking for fallow deer for one person on the 3000 acre Hamptworth estate, on the northern edge of the New Forest national park. The day will see you stalking fallow deer from high seats, with the estates head stalker, and includes rifle hire, ammunition, and zeroing.
This offer is open to all levels of experience and individuals new to the sport are very welcome. On arrival, you will be met by the head stalker, who will personally supervise you throughout the day. Following a safety briefing, you will have an initial practice session before proceeding to a high seat. Stalking takes place either at dawn or dusk when the herds come out of the woods to the grass rides and glades.
Accommodation can be arranged but is not included in this lot.
(If the bidding goes high enough, then carcass hanging and butchering will be included.)
