Jonathan has been shooting for over 30 years, starting at St. John’s School Leatherhead where he now coaches shooting part-time. Jonathan has previously only toured to the Channel Islands in 2003 in the successful team managed by Nigel Penn and Charles Brooks. Jonathan’s touring plans then ended abruptly with the birth of his two daughters in 2004 and 2006.
When not shooting or coaching, Jonathan runs his own plumbing and heating business based in Surrey. He is also the Secretary of both the Surrey Rifle Association and the Old Johnian Rifle Club. This is Jonathan’s first senior tour at the ripe age of 46 but he has a solid reputation for team shooting, with two National caps to his credit and regular appearances for Surrey. This will be Jonathan’s first trip to the West Indies but he thrives in hot humid weather and is looking forward to a scrap with the Aussies and the other competitors in the Australia Match.
