Paul Gray
Paul began his shooting career at Mountain Ash rifle range in South Wales in 1970. Over the years, he has featured in 11 Queen's finals and has been the Captain of Welsh National Match winning teams in 2016 and 2021. Paul enjoys having fun with a Match Rifle and won the prestigious Albert Trophy in 2000.
This will be Paul's sixth visit to Canada, fifth with a team and second as Captain of a visiting team. Interestingly, on his first visit as an individual in 1977, Paul shot for the USA team in the Canada match.
Outside of shooting, Paul is a retired care home proprietor, advising health professional students at Swansea University on interaction with patients and sits on the medical ethics committee. For the first 10 years of his working life Paul was an explosives engineer working on the demolition of large structures. Paul is forever thankful for his wife Jayne's support whilst he's pursued his shooting career around the world for almost 50 years.

Jason Pepera-Hibbert
Jason began shooting at Wellington College under the watchful eye of Nigel Ball GC SM SC, a frequent flyer on GB teams (sadly not this one). As a 2016 Atheling, Jason became obsessed with wind-reading and team coaching.
Whilst studying at Exeter University, Jason spent his holidays going on tour with the NRA team 2018 and the GB U25 Team to the World Championships in New Zealand 2019 where he placed 4th individually and 2nd in the team match (as a shooter!). If you’ve ever talked to Jason, you would know he loves difficult and changing wind conditions, so naturally his favourite range to date is Trentham, NZ.
Jason is looking forward to returning to Canada where his international touring journey started.

Richard started shooting at Gresham's School and was an Atheling in 1998. Since then he has toured South Africa and the Channel Isles with GB U25, then Australia and Canada with GB. Individual shooting successes include 5 Queen's badges, 6 Grand crosses, winning the Corporation in 2002 and the Grand Aggregate in 2006.
This will be Richard’s first return to Canada since Martin Townsend’s winning Palma tour of 2007 and he is looking forward to travelling alongside several of his Norfolk county team members.
Richard is eternally grateful to his wife, Vicki, and their 13 year old son Rory, for giving him the time off over the summer break to tour.
Off the range hobbies include: tinkering with cars, anything mechanical, most things outdoors, drinking real ales and eating curries! Richard is one of the few to successfully follow the armouring line of work, always being interested in the technical aspects of rifles and ammunition.

James Bullock
James first shot a fullbore target rifle at Bisley in 1992 and has been hooked ever since. He has toured with GB teams to Canada and South Africa, shot for England in the Mackinnon and National, the NRA on the Channel Islands tour and European Long Range Championship and has represented Nottinghamshire over 100 times, picking up 12 Queen's / St George's Final badges as well as 3 Grand crosses along the way.
James first toured to Canada with GB 25 years ago in 2000, so he is persistent if nothing else and somewhat bemused by where all that time went. He is excited at the prospect of returning to compete in Canada and is particularly looking forward to sharing the experience with his son Tom, who is also a member of the team (as long as he doesn’t beat him).
Outside of the shooting world, James has been involved in running the family business for 40 years. He is currently focussing on helping the concrete industry to reduce its carbon footprint, so he clearly likes a challenge. In his spare time he dabbles in writing poetry.

Tom Bullock
Tom began shooting at Langar rifle club in his native Nottinghamshire back in the late noughties with his father James, who he is proud to join on this team.
While this will be Tom's first tour to Canada, he has previously toured four times: GB U19 to South Africa in 2012, GB U21 to America in 2016, GB U25 to New Zealand in 2019 and with the UK NRA team to the Channel Islands in 2018. In and amongst this Tom gained a first class degree in engineering from Warwick University and has become a director of the family business.
By stepping up to this Great Britain team Tom will become one of just a few people in history to ‘complete the set’, so to speak. Though it will be a tremendous honour and privilege to do so, his primary interests in touring lie in the pursuit of adventure, the amazing friendships that are forged on tour and of course the all-important hunt for V-Bulls.

Miles started shooting in the cadet force at RGS Guildford aged 14, subsequently continuing his shooting career at the Old Guildfordians Rifle Club once he left the school. He had his first taste of touring with the Athelings to Canada in 2018, where he shot the America Match for GB U25.
This will be the first senior GB tour for Miles, after he was most recently part of the victorious GBU25 Rifle Team that won the U25 World Championships in Bloemfontein, South Africa last March. He was the target coach for the match where the team pulled out a special performance at 900m in the strongest winds all week to win, on a day that Miles won't forget for a long time!
Away from shooting, Miles works as an Assistant Surveyor at CBRE in their London Valuation and Advisory Services department where he specialises in assisting clients with their Business Rates liabilities. He also enjoys getting out with his camera and the odd game of golf, when time permits!

Luca O'Flynn
Luca started shooting in 2013, at the age of 12, after he joined the Royal Grammar School, Guildford. Starting on air rifle for two years, he graduated first to smallbore and then to fullbore a year later. He shot with the Ireland team and the GB U25s shortly thereafter, and toured Canada with the Athelings in 2018.
While this will be Luca's first GB tour, he was selected to join the NRA team to the Channel Islands, first in 2020, but the tour was postponed and then sadly cancelled due to COVID. Eventually he went in 2022, in a team that went undefeated, which had not been done for over ten years. He has since been Reserve on the 2023 GB team to Canada and was part of the winning GB U25 team in South Africa for the 2024 World Championships.
He is mid-way through studying Product Design at Loughborough University, who now shoot regularly and have competed in BUCS this year for the first time.

Sasha first started shooting at Sevenoaks School in 2012, then continuing with Warwick University and the British Young Shooters Association, but did not compete as an individual at Bisley until the 2019 Imperial Meeting. He finally broke his T by making it into the 2020 St George's Final and is now a regular on the Oxfordshire county squad.
Sasha's main experience of touring is with James Mehta's NRA team to the Channel Islands in 2023, which sparked his drive to pursue senior touring squads. He was pleased to secure his England cap in the 2024 European Long Range Championships after Reserve positions in the Lawrence and the National the same year. Sasha is looking forward to his first tour with GB, including the training and preparation stages, and has taken on the task of editing the tour website (and somehow his own bio).
When off the ranges, Sasha runs his own investment and advisory firm to advise private technology companies on growth strategy, corporate governance and ethics. Outside of work, his interests lie in skiing, diving and travelling the world.
